Contiem is looking for a Senior Instructional Designer, to support design and develop instructional content, including objectives, storyboards, interactive exercises, training materials, and evaluation, to be used in a variety of training solutions that support clients’ Technical products.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Professional Services projects are across industry verticals like Publishing, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Technology, and Financial Services. RSuite clients are provided with instructional product videos to help onboard their teams and rapidly achieve their publishing objectives.

The key expectations for projects are:

  • Understand client problem statements, define learning objectives, and recommend training strategies to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Conduct different types of needs assessment (audience/role analysis, task analysis, gap analysis, and content analysis) and identify gaps in performance and determine training needs.
  • Document analysis results and recommendations in client-facing strategies, plans, and reports. Plan and create appropriate content outlines, course content, interactive exercises, assessments, and job aids to achieve learning outcomes.
  • Implement ID frameworks like the ADDIE process and execute ID pedagogy, ID principles, and ID tools.
  • Design and develop instructor-led training (ILT), online training (WBT and VILT), blended training, or micro-learning as determined from the needs assessment and content analysis. Independently develop L1 and L2 training courses.
  • Act as a key member of the team, along with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and others in determining the needs of the course, the overall instructional flow of a program, and the appropriate method of delivery. Interact with other project teams to ensure consistency of deliverables.
  • Provide status reports and participate actively in client meetings.
  • Achieve customer delight through experience, soft skills, and solution definition.

 

Pre-Sales Support

  • Support marketing and sales initiatives and requests to achieve successful learning solutions.
  • Assist the sales team to understand potential client requirements and provide effort estimates.
  • Exhibit training expertise by creating case-study-quality artifacts.

 

Capability Building

  • Assist the management team in defining the capability requirements to expand the training team.
  • Participate in interviews, evaluate assessments, and recommend candidates for the next steps.
  • Participate in the Employee Referral program and recommend candidates for selection.
  • Leverage your experience to enhance team capabilities by actively participating in quality reviews and recommending improvements for compliance with best practices, guidelines, processes, and standards.
