About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to lead our Data Science and Analytics team in Trainline Partner Solutions (TPS). As the most senior Data Science and Analytics person in TPS, you will be responsible for working in a cross-functional senior team to develop the data maturity and drive the test and learn approach to product development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Data Scientists and Analysts to drive a high standard of work and impact within the organization.
Mature how we achieve growth in a data-driven way across your team
Develop and execute the strategy for the TPS space, influencing data engineering and BI roadmaps.
Work with the cross-functional team to set out the long-term strategy for the team and ensure execution of this strategy within the team.
Communicate the vision and progress to senior leadership within the company.
Develop a close working relationship with Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and BI teams to ensure all data is working on the right problems to move Trainline forward.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with experience in leading data-driven decision making for a tech product, ideally with some relevant experience in the B2B space. You should have experience managing a data-driven team and holding a high bar for analysis for at least 1 year. You should also have experience in driving growth in an online product for at least 6 years, setting the strategic direction, and thinking big.

Desirable Skills
